I was on a Zoom call recently with Brittney Frye, of "Closing Chapters: Everyday Real Estate Tales," and she was interviewing me for her podcast. We were discussing the importance of staging an occupied house before listing it for sale.

She asked me what my goal as a home stager was when working with Realtors, and I had to come up with something great on the spot. Sometimes we get so focused on the details that it's easy to miss the big picture. So putting on my wide-angle lens, so to speak, I said that really it's all about the PRESENTATION of the house and how buyers perceive it.
